Gerunds & Infinitives Multi Module
Welcome to the Gerunds and Infinitives Multi Module!
This collection of units has been designed to help you understand and master one of the trickiest areas of English grammar: when to use gerunds (the -ING form) and when to use infinitives (the base form of the verb).
Knowing when to use gerunds and infinitives can be confusing, but with regular practice, it becomes much easier to get right.
This Multi Module is a dip in and out resource, meaning you can return to it whenever you need to review or practise specific rules. We’ve broken down the main rules and common patterns, along with plenty of examples and exercises, to help you feel confident using both gerunds and infinitives correctly.
By the end of this module, you will:
1) Know when to use gerunds and infinitives after certain verbs.
2) Have mastered the other uses of both forms
3) Have developed a clear understanding of Passive, Continuous and Perfect ING and INFINITIVE Forms.
Remember, regular practice is key! Keep returning to the material and exercises, and soon you’ll feel more confident about handling this challenging grammar point.
Good luck, and enjoy your learning journey!
