  2. Other key uses:
    • Gerunds as subjects (e.g., Swimming is fun), after prepositions (e.g., good at playing), and after certain conjunctions (e.g., after finishing).
    • Infinitives after adjectives (e.g., easy to learn), after question words (e.g., what to do), and for purpose (e.g., to learn English).
